For the past few years, I’ve had two droplets running in Digital Ocean. These virtual machines were used to help me connect into the DN42 network, and have served me extremely well. I’ve had nothing but a great experience on Digital Ocean and part of me is sad to leave.
There’s no real reason why I’m moving off other than cost. $360 a year for two vm’s that I used for a side hobby that I’m no longer really invested in, does not make a lot of sense.
Especially when I have a dedicated server in RackNerd that I pay $69 dollars a month for.
None the less, look at that uptime!
